Event Details:
The International Mathematical Genius Olympiad (IMGO) is an esteemed global mathematics competition organized by EASYLISH International Pte. Ltd. (Singapore). IMGO is dedicated to evaluating and celebrating the mathematical prowess of students with exceptional aptitude in mathematics.
By inviting participants from diverse countries, the competition provides a platform for showcasing and further developing their skills, encouraging a deeper understanding and appreciation of mathematics while connecting young mathematicians from around the world. The International Mathematical Genius Olympiad (World Championship Invitational Round 2025) will take place on Saturday, 20th December 2025,offering both onsite and online participation options to ensure global accessibility for competitors. The event will honor and recognize the exceptional mathematical talents and dedication of young minds, celebrating those who represent the future of mathematical excellence.



1) Eligibility and Qualification:
- Must be in grade 1-9 from any school
- Must be within the age range specified for each competition level.
- Must possess the ability to communicate in English.
- Must not have any disciplinary actions related to academic misconduct.
2) Competition Level:
- Primary A: Ages 7-8 on the day of the competition
- Primary B: Ages 9-10 on the day of the competition
- • Primary C: Ages 11-12 on the day the competition
Lower Secondary: Ages 13-15 on the day of the competition
3) Competition Format:
- Language: English
- Speed Test 1: 50 questions / 0.4 mark each / 20 marks total
- Speed Test 2: 30 questions / 1 mark each / 30 marks total
- Word Problems: 20 questions / 2.5 mark each / 50 marks total
- Only correct answers will be counted, without any deduction for wrong ones.
- A calculator, an abacus, or any calculating device are not allowed.
- Paper dictionaries are allowed, but must not contain any mathematical content such as formulas, definitions, theorems, diagrams, or anything similar.
4) Topics:
Primary A
- Speed Test 1: Addition & subtraction (1–2 digit numbers, 2–4 numbers)
- Speed Test 2: Mixed addition & subtraction (1–2 digit numbers, 2–4 numbers)
- Word Problems: Comparison of numbers, basic geometry, basic measurement (length, weight, capacity), money, picture graph, and basic statistics
Primary B
- Speed Test 1: Four operations (1–3 digit numbers, 2–6 numbers)
- Speed Test 2: Mixed four operations (1–3 digit numbers, 2–6 numbers)
- Word Problems: Age, comparison, measurement, perimeter & area, money, charts, statistics, fractions, and decimals
Primary C
- Speed Test 1: Four operations (1–4 digit numbers, 2–8 numbers)
- Speed Test 2: Mixed four operations (1–4 digit numbers, 2–8 numbers)
- Word Problems: Currency exchange, basic probability, perimeter & area, surface area & volume, charts, statistics, and percentage/ratio
Lower Secondary
- Speed Test 1: Four operations (1–5 digit numbers, 2–10 numbers)
- Speed Test 2: Mixed four operations (1–5 digit numbers, 2–10 numbers)
- Word Problems: Statistics, probability, geometry, ratios, rates, lines, angles, polygons, data analysis, equations & inequalities
5) Award Criteria
Scoring criteria are based on grouping according to the competition level.
- Top Overall Score: Trophy, medal, and certificate
- Awards by levels as follows:
- First decile (Top 10%): Gold medal and certificate
- Second decile (Next 10%): Silver medal and certificate
- Third decile (Next 10%): Bronze medal and certificate
- Remaining competitors: Honorable Mention certificate (digital)
- Sample Calculation for 50 competitors:
- Ranks 1-5 (Top 10%) receive a Gold medal.
Ranks 6-10 (Next 10%) receive a Silver medal.
Ranks 11-15 (Following 10%) receive a Bronze medal.
Ranks 16-50 receive an Honorable Mention certificate (digital)
- Ranks 1-5 (Top 10%) receive a Gold medal.
6) Schedule:

- The schedule and venue are subject to change as necessary. Any adjustments will be announced in advance. Decisions made by the organizers are final and not subject to appeal.
7) Competition fee:
- TK 200/= for National Round.
8) Terms and Conditions:
- Onsite Package : Competitors are granted only participation rights in the competition. All additional expenses are the sole responsibilities of the competitors.
- Online Package : competitors will compete on the same day and time as those at the onsite venue via a virtual platform (Zoom meeting). Competitors are required to have the following equipment ready:
- 1. A laptop, computer, or tablet that can conduct the exam with the front camera activated continuously from start to finish.
- 2. A laptop, computer, or tablet for capturing a side-angle view. The awards will be delivered to the Sole Authorized Organizer (SAO). However, the SAO may charge an additional handling fee at its discretion.
- In countries where a Sole Authorized Organizer (SAO) has been appointed, all registrations and payments shall be made directly through the respective SAO.
9) How to Register:
